Tuscan Group uses a variety of resources to find the perfect plan for the homes we build. A client may choose to work with an architect to design a totally unique home. However, most of the houses we have built have been pre-designed, and we then modify the design to fit the needs of the client. Tuscan Group is about to celebrate twenty years of custom home building, and it’s been one of our greatest joys to build a home for our daughter’s family. This is one we’ve built before, reversed its design, and modified it to fit their needs. Let’s take a tour!
Classy Craftsman
Details, details, details! This home is loaded with custom craftsmanship - from the cabinets, to the stonework, to the tile - quality is apparent throughout. Plenty of room for family gatherings, this home boasts a primary bedroom on the first floor, with secondary bedrooms and bonus upstairs.
Marymoor
This Craftsman style home by Cornerstone Designs has been one of our most popular plans. It has a tight footprint with all living and sleeping spaces on the first floor. However, there is SO much room available in unfinished space on the second floor! We have added bonus rooms, bedrooms and baths, as well as having loads of storage available, too. There is also a lot of flexibility to alter the exterior style to accommodate a more rustic, modern or traditional look.
Modernist Revival
This stunning contemporary home boasts soaring open spaces with all rooms on one level. Huge outdoor areas connect to the living space through a giant slider door. Natural light fills the home through generous doors and windows. We like to think Frank Lloyd Wright would be proud as we built the home around some massive boulders that provide a stunning bath-side view!
Cottage Style Farmhouse
This custom home reminds its owners of their times at the beach with its clean bright interiors and plenty of natural light. We love the customized modifications this client wanted to make to open up the entire living space, including a huge slider door to a lovely back porch. This home has 3 bedrooms on the first floor with more space upstairs for another, plus a huge bonus room and office.
Stone Farmhouse
Gorgeous custom build with lots of natural features for an active family of 5. We love all the symmetry and the beautiful white stone on the exterior. Soaring ceilings in the Great Room are grounded by a warm fireplace and cozy beams. Beautiful detailing in the lighting, iron finishes and custom tile work make this a showcase of a home!
Charming Modern Cottage
This cozy cottage is as functional inside as it is charming on the outside. Large kitchen is equipped with center island to aid in meal prep. A mudroom with drop zone is tucked just off the garage and adjoins the laundry room, keeping coats and shoes in their place. A vaulted ceiling and a 12’ slider door allow plenty of natural light to illuminate the Family Room, with an adjacent vaulted screen porch, and a large open deck as well. First floor master suite is off Family Room and features a custom shower and freestanding tub. Three bedrooms with large closets and a full bath share the upper level. Large bonus room features a dormer is located near bedrooms on second floor. Lots of storage space available in walk-in attic. Builder has modified plan for more square footage and larger screen porch.
